My First Trip 2021’ campaign launched to attract domestic travelers

The Tourism department of Kerala has launched a campaign named ‘My First Trip 2021’ in order to attract the attention of the domestic travelers. While launching the Kerala Blog Express, the Principal Secretary of Tourism in Kerala, Rani George quoted, “The trip will give the participants a chance to not just visit the famous tourist destinations in Kerala, but experience the cuisine, culture, art and other popular activities around”.
The travel campaign that shall be led by 10 eminent Indian social media influencers is dated to be concluded on March 29. An itinerary of six nights and five days shall be formed which in turn shall facilitate in the production of exclusive content for the tourism of Kerala.
The influencers shall generate all images, videos and written content and shall share them on various social media forums as #MyFirstTrip. They shall announce that after the Covid era, Kerala is open for tourism.
George further exclaimed that the whole tourism industry came to a halt due to the outbreak of the pandemic. Now that the people have started adjusting to the current scenario, Kerala too is witnessing a fresh arrival of tourists from November-December 2020.
George stated, “Now, these vloggers can also spread the word to the world that Kerala is safer to explore since Covid-19 cases are on the decline in the state. So, people would understand the situation”.
The Director of Kerala Tourism, VR Krishna is of the opinion that these trips to Kerala will make the people feel the warmth of the state and compel them to believe how the state is safe to explore.
The campaign shall facilitate all the ten influencers to visit all the gorgeous destinations of Kerala in ten specifically branded cars. To mention a few, the participants shall be able to visit destinations such as Jatayu Earth Center at Chadayamangalam in Kollam, Thumboormuzhi Garden in Chalakudy, Thrissur, Vazhachal and Athirapally waterfalls.
