Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Department Attract Tourists With the Festivals and Activities!

J and K departments organized various festivals to promote tourism in India. It includes various types of expeditions and organizing destination festivals for tourists. The recent reports also emphasized the many roadshows organized at the top countries. It was for attracting more tourists after the COVID Pandemic.
After a long time, the economy is getting back on track. And the most affected tourism industry is now gearing up to earn profits. The introduction of several tourism-relevant activities and events held in Jammu and Kashmir is a new program. It’s to attract tourists from all over the country and even abroad. As per the meeting held by the Tourism Department, the reports suggest that Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav is the tagline for the iconic celebration. The festival week is about to begin in the last week of October this year. The Chief Secretary of this event is AK Mehta.
The event is about to witness several performances of kalam-and Khusro and Kalam-e-Baba Fareed. Haziri Kathak, Hafiz Nagma, Qawwali, Dervish Sufi Dance, and many others are also in the queue. There is a long itinerary of Sufism and a comprehensive exhibition of local arts, Sufi traditions, and calligraphy!

The J and K Tourism departments are out new and innovative tourism concepts to light up the streets with travelers from all over. It includes the Pahalgam Winter Festival, Gulmarg Snow Festival, Basohli Art Festival, Sonamarg Autumn Festival, and the Khadinyar Cultural festival. It also consists of the Mata Vaishnodevi Sangeet Sammelan, the Kishtwar Saffron Plucking festival, and many more.
For further tourism promotion, there are even houseboat and autumn festivals and winter carnivals organized. To promote rural tourism in Jammu and Kashmir, various activities and celebrations are going on in the circuit of Jammu and Kashmir. It includes Nowgam mawar-Lolab in Kupwara, Saderkoot Payeen- Watlab in Bandipora, and Parihaspora-Gohan in Gulmarg.
