Within 8 hours, the train from Delhi reaches Varanasi and is operative every day except on Mondays and Thursdays.
By the way, the Tejas Express is the first semi – high speed and fully air-conditioned train operating in India and managed by the IRCTC. It is reportedly one of the fastest trains running in India.
According to a report from TOI, the Tejas Express will start on with its service from February 14, 2021 on the Mumbai Central – Ahmedabad and Lucknow – New Delhi route.
As a safety measure during this pandemic time, passengers boarding the train shall be thermally screened and it made mandatory to wear face masks.
