We cannot get over this Farm stay’s hangover and the immersing cultural vibes, nature-rich surroundings, and soul-enriching experience of this place.

Besides being a first-hand guide to our staycation at Pushkar, this blog post explains Rajasthan’s royal strings, which connect you to age-old culture, cuisines, and India’s heritage. Pushkar is a popular travel hub for Indian backpackers, travelers, and foreign tourists, as it shares a glimpse of the authentic Rajasthani tradition.

On Our Way to Farm Aavjo!

We Ghoomophirosisters also headed out on our new expedition away from bustling city life and chaotic routines. You might have heard a lot about the vibrant architecture and warm hospitality of royal cities like Jodhpur, Jaipur, or Udaipur, but the charm of the hidden gem—Pushkar—is yet unexplored!

As we moved towards the holy city of Pushkar, nestled amidst the majestic Aravali Ranges, on our way to Farm Aavjo, the urge to delve deeper into its history surged. If you happen to visit here in November, the popular ‘Pushkar Camel Fair’ is a must-attend for everyone. We were welcomed by locals wholeheartedly and were thrilled to finally enter the town of sacred lakes, ghats, and the only ‘Brahma Temple’ in the world!

On our way to Farm Aavjo, we Ghoomophirosisters craved local cuisines and took a few breaks to soak in the essence of their traditional spices, prepared with utmost patience and love. Delectable meals and Rajasthani snacks were good enough to satiate our appetites and taste buds.

Finally, as Google Maps showed, we were just a minute away from reaching Farm Aavjo, and our excitement to witness the holistic stay here knew no bounds!

We, the Ghoomophirosisters, wanted to make the most of our stay at this spectacular farm in Pushkar, so we conducted proper research well in advance. What we saw here was, in fact, better than what we heard or searched about it. Memorable hospitality, warm welcome, host of activities, and well-maintained accommodation were impressive things to begin with!

After a tour of hustling Pushkar markets, rustic buildings, and narrow alleys, arriving at Farm Aavjo is a sheer getaway for any traveler. It imparts an amazing opportunity for every tourist to experience farm life and slow down for a while. We were enchanted with the raw beauty of this place, which depicts the life of locals and allows you to go back to your roots!

Spending hours with speechless animals is a healing therapy that cherishes your mind and heart. At Farm Aavjo, we had a great time bonding with our furry friends there. Interestingly, they are recognized with unique names and have their own identity. Seeing animals being nurtured with so much respect and care was incredible!

Our interaction with the horses (Riddhi and Siddhi), Cow (Laxmi), Cat (Cookie), chickens, and farm ducks was interesting. With their permission, you can caress them, petting, feeding, or calming them down. We Ghoomophirosisters also enjoyed observing these animals and creating a profound connection with them.

Guilt-Free Food Straight from Farms was a Sheer Paradise!

Munching on delectable, farm-fresh recipes at Farm Aavjo was another incredible experience for us. Indulging in tasteful Rajasthani cuisines and tailored fresh organic meals was a unique experience. These food options were satiating, but what’s better is your chance to participate in the process.

We got the chance to collect eggs and harvest vegetables, which helped us understand the incredible process of connecting to roots for our daily needs. It is incredible how Mother Nature serves us a variety of tasteful eating options filled with essential nutrients and vitamins.

After handpicking the farm-fresh, organic fruits and veggies on our own, we Ghoomophirosisters ate the freshly served meals wholeheartedly and guilt-free.

Creative Therapy Room- A Retreat to Enjoy!

‘The Everything Room’ was a unique addition to the Farm Aavjo, luring guests to unwind in the host of leisure activities. We Ghoomophirosisters enjoyed numerous activities such as reading, art therapy, playing with cats, and singing karaoke to spend evening hours soulfully. The moment of self-discovery and mental relaxation guests experience here is beyond explanation.

Local Pushkar Market is just 9 Minutes away from Farm Aavjo!

After a thrilling day at Pushkar, we Ghoomophirosisters returned to Farm Aavjo to enjoy amenities like the fitness center, lounge, and recreation room. Poolside morning breakfast here offers a picturesque view to the guests, making the trip more pleasant and memorable.
